Good to know

"From" prices depend on hair length, thickness and the products used. We confirm the price at your consultation.

A patch test is needed at least 48 hours before colour and some beauty treatments.

Please read our cancellation policy before you book.

How to set up a salon price list that is easy to read

A good salon price list groups services (hair, barbering, nails, beauty), shows a price and a time for each one, and explains in a few lines what can change the price. Clients should be able to find their service in a few seconds.

Use "from" prices for services that depend on length, thickness or products, and say how you confirm the final price. Mention what clients need to know before they come: patch tests, deposits and your cancellation policy.

Keep the same list on your website, your booking page and in the salon. A price list that matches your online booking avoids surprises at the till. This template is our own wording and a starting point.

Price lists: common questions

Should I show prices on my website?

Clients often look for prices before they book. A clear list saves questions and sets expectations. Use "from" prices where the final price depends on the client.

How do I decide what to charge?

Start from your costs, the time each service takes and what you want to earn per hour. The price calculator helps you work out a price from your own numbers.

Do prices need to include VAT?

If you are VAT registered, prices shown to consumers normally include VAT. Check the rules for your situation with your accountant.

Is the template free?

Yes. Download it, edit it and use it in your salon.
